Q. What exactly is a Voiceover? A. A voiceover can be found in many forms, from the a narrator in an instructional video, to an announcer in a commercial, to the person reading you the latest audiobook, to the voice asking for help in aisle 4, to the message you hear while you are on hold when you are calling a business, to the instructor teaching you the steps in an e-learning demonstration. Voiceover exists in a multitude of ways in our exeryday life and will continue to grow as media beomces more fragmented. Top

Q. Why should I hire a professional Voiceover? A. Hey the secretary/assistant/sales rep/brother-in-law has a pretty good voice, and they're really cheap. Heck even folks have told me I have a good voice, why can't I just do it myself? Why should I pay you or any other professional to voice my project? Because this is an important project to you. And something that is that important shouldn't be placed in the hands of an amateur. It takes a trained professional actor to sound like a real person and not like they are reading off a page. Every project is different and rates depend on the type and scope of the project as well as the intended use of the audip, how long the audio will be active and the size of the market the audio will be used in. Q. How fast can you turn this project around? A.I have a private studio, which allows me to turn a project around quickly and efficiently. Turnaround time can be impacted by the scope and length of your project. Once I have the details in hand, I'll let you know when your finished audio will be delivered. Top

Q. Do you have your own studio? A. As a matter of fact I do. I have a private studio that is equipped with the following: Audio Technica AT4033 mic, Mbox2 Pro with ProTools LE recording and editing software, a sound treated recording room, and the ability to deliver broadcast quality recordings to you within your budget and your deadline. Q. I need some help with my script, can you help me to re-write it? A. If you need some scripting writing assistance I will be glad to offer my services. It probably would be a good idea to read your script aloud several times so you can hear for yourself what it sounds like. Unless you request help. I'll figure you are happy with what you have written and record it as written. Top

Q. What if I need music and sound added to my project, can you help me with this? A. Yes, I have a pretty substantial library of royalty free music as well as sound effects I can add to create a finished product. Top

Q. I need to tweak what you've put together, how do you handle revisions? A. If what you hear isn't what your heard in your mind when you were writing the script, or if you would like a different approach, I'd be happy to re-record your original script at no additional charge. If however you decide to change the script, revisions are charged at 50% of the original rate. I want you to be satisfied with your finished product. Being as detailed and specific as possible with your requirements will help tremendously. Top
